In-line Fuse 1500V DC for solar system——SUNKEAN Nov 17,2022

Fuses are designed to protect electrical devices from overcurrent. When the current exceeds that for which they are rated, fuses will melt, thereby breaking the circuit.  Technically speaking, all fuses are installed in the path of a circuit. Fuses work by allowing a maximum amount of current – as measured in amperage – to travel through them. Excess current will break the fuse. As a result, electrical devices on the circuit will be protected from damage.

For the best possible cost-effectiveness and operational safety of solar plants the installation of an inline fuse is recommended. SUNKEAN in-line fuse is a wiring harness with a fuse inline, you can singly or integrate in a cable harness. And we supply the right connectors, to exactly fit your plant design.

SUNKEAN in-line fuse is designed with an IP68 sealed molding enclosure. Cable cross-section 12~8 AWG / 3.5~10 mm². Other fuse ratings and configurations (1-60A) are available upon request (for example with a single connector, or no connectors). It can operate at the temperature of -40~60℃.

As solar equipment is prone to overheat and damage, the in-line fuse assembly helps protect against equipment or modular failure, lightning strikes, or any other natural disasters. This reduces the risk of inappropriate wire installation and saves on time and cost needed for setup. And, it's compatible with any solar panel or component that requires a secure connection. The SUNKEAN inline fuse cable securely protects power equipment from wear and tear and provides long lasting solar connections.
